This is the main result of some recent investigations conducted in the sector.<\/p>\n<h2>Social Media and Generation Z: Lights and Shadows<\/h2>\n<p>The idea of being without social media is a scary prospect for Zedders or Centennials. <b>Young people and social networks<\/b> represent a very close pairing, also given the fact that, since they were newborns, children have been accustomed to a digitalized and hyper-connected world. For teenagers, <b>social media<\/b> they allow you to always be &quot;on the ball&quot;, <a href=\"https:\/\/www.universityboxagency.com\/generazione-zeta-la-piu-informata\/\">Updated<\/a> on current affairs, programs and TV series, sports and much more on a global scale. At the same time, however, when it comes to <b>influence of social networks on young people<\/b>, there is also the other side of the coin to consider. For example, some internal studies at Facebook, revealed by the \u201cWall Street Journal\u201d, have shown that young people who habitually use the social platform are prone to express negative feelings about their body, anxiety or even depression. And Facebook is apparently aware of this, so much so that it has conducted internal studies over the past three years, without ever revealing the results, on how the app owned by the Menlo Park giant influences millions of young users. The one who revealed these studies and the related results was\u00a0<a href=\"https:\/\/www.wsj.com\/articles\/facebook-knows-instagram-is-toxic-for-teen-girls-company-documents-show-11631620739?st=zt0vyj3pz6duh9s&amp;reflink=share_mobilewebshare\">Wall Street Journal<\/a>.<\/p>\n<p>A study conducted by Doxa Kids for Telefono Azzurro has highlighted other interesting elements <b>on young people and social networks<\/b>. In the survey, the kids involved had to indicate up to three negative aspects of social media. A third of the interviewees identified it as distraction from studying; 29% talked about the lack of personal contact and relationships with others; in 21% of the cases, however, a negative aspect turned out to be the illusory dimension of acquaintance networks: the impression is of having many friends, in reality, for the most part, they remain strangers. Regarding <b>young people and social networks and statistics<\/b> relative, the 28% of the sample considered, moreover, underlined the problem of social addiction.
